I’m back again with another verse that has been impactful to me. In this series, I’ve been taking you through several verses that helped me get through various seasons of my life and have a special place in my heart. I hope that as I share these verses with you and what they meant to me that you’ll find they apply to your life also and that you’ll find some encouragement in these posts! Now, let’s get on to this installment’s verse.
My family, friends, and I went to the Yellow Daisy festival this weekend at Stone Mountain Park, and then did a sunset hike up the mountain afterwords. Along the way, we found some of the yellow daisies for which the festival was named.
This one in particular captured my attention and I took a picture of it—because there was just one flourishing among the dead.
It reminded me of the valley of dry bones in Ezekiel 37:
Life can be crazy. I’m sure everyone that’s alive knows that and this isn’t new news to anyone, but sometimes, it can feel as if you’re being slung around more than normal.
I had an experience myself recently where Continue reading “In the Potter’s Hands”
For some reason, I never did get around to pre-writing and scheduling posts this month. Or even this week. That’s why every single day, I’ve had to sit down and write out that day’s post. Today is no different in that regard; its only difference lies in the fact that today, I have no idea what to write about. I’ve prayed before writing this post that only the words that God wants written will be written, so let’s see where this goes!
Happy Thursday, everyone! I’ve been having a lot of technical difficulties today with my blog. I posted this post this morning but it didn’t load/post any words, just the featured image. I just tried again and it did the same thing, so I’m not really sure what’s up. Anyway, this is the post that was intended to go out this morning; it’s a guest post from one of the first bloggers I connected with when I switched to a WordPress platform. I really enjoy her content and everything she posts just oozes her love for Jesus. Please be sure to go and check out her blog here.
I’m getting ready to head out the door to go on another road trip (seriously one of my favorite things ever), so today’s post may be shorter than normal. I haven’t written posts ahead this month and have really just gotten up each morning to write them for the most part, so please excuse the chaos. I dearly hope you’re intrigued by the title of this post because it’s one of the best ones I’ve come up with so far (in my humble opinion).
I try to post book-related things on Wednesdays, and I haven’t finished a book this week, so I don’t have one to post about specifically, but I decided to write a post about what I’m currently reading and what I’m looking forward to reading next. I usually do this just at the end/beginning of a year, but since summer’s a great time for reading, it’s always useful to know some good books to pick up.
