I’m getting ready to head out the door to go on another road trip (seriously one of my favorite things ever), so today’s post may be shorter than normal. I haven’t written posts ahead this month and have really just gotten up each morning to write them for the most part, so please excuse the chaos. I dearly hope you’re intrigued by the title of this post because it’s one of the best ones I’ve come up with so far (in my humble opinion).
I normally try to do a devotional post on Mondays, but last week and this week, I’ve been more in the “update” mode. Perhaps it’s because I haven’t written all these posts out ahead of time like I did previously this summer. You may notice that this post isn’t coming out in the 9 o’clock hour, as I aim for my posts to normally do. That’s because this has been a spur-of-the-moment week this week. Incredibly spontaneous, it’s been a week juxtaposing “Be still” and “Go”.
I am SUPER excited about today’s guest blogger! She holds a special place in my heart, as she is my youngest sister. She is mature beyond her years and I love seeing her grow and serving God alongside her. Recently, God downloaded a word into her about her identity, and it is so powerful! She let me post it today because she believes that this word is not just for her; it’s for all Christians. This is who God says we are! After you’re done reading, please be sure to check out her blog, which is all about making sure pets are receiving proper care. She does lots of research to post every week, and is passionate in her love for animals.
In Sunday school the other weekend, my class and I were talking about the advances in technology over the past 100 years: about how people used to ride in horses and buggies, then cars and airplanes and space shuttles. Continue reading “Not Going Back”
You’ve been in my life for long enough. You flip my stomach and spin my head. You drown my hope and blind my eyes. You blur my vision of my destiny and choke me with your lies.
I’m done with you.
Today’s guest blogger is a sweet girl I came across from the WordPress Reader. I don’t remember now if she found my blog first or if I found hers, but we’ve since followed each other on WordPress and Instagram, and I am always so encouraged by the testimonies she posts. I wanted to share her with you all today and encourage you to follow her as well! Continue reading “Guest Post: Ana Guerrero from House of Prayer and Praise”
I’m honored to serve alongside you, do you know that? Continue reading “To the Warriors”
