This word may not be for everybody, but it sure hit me where I’m at when I read it.
(Sorry this post is late!)
Okay y’all I’m so sorry this wasn’t posted this morning. As you’ll probably have noticed if you follow me on Instagram, I went out of town this weekend. I just got back in town after 2 am, and stayed at my friend’s house instead of going all the way home, so I just got home about 2 hours ago and have been unpacking. I started writing this on the ride home last night but ended up falling asleep! Anyway, some friends of mine and I made a trip to Richmond, Virginia for another friend’s birthday party. We stayed at her house and had ourselves a marvelous time. The birthday party was held about 30 minutes away from her house, and we had so many adventures just getting to where the party was held that I just have to tell! Of course, there was a spiritual parallel to be seen if we looked.
I’m getting ready to head out the door to go on another road trip (seriously one of my favorite things ever), so today’s post may be shorter than normal. I haven’t written posts ahead this month and have really just gotten up each morning to write them for the most part, so please excuse the chaos. I dearly hope you’re intrigued by the title of this post because it’s one of the best ones I’ve come up with so far (in my humble opinion).
Today my friend from Lace Devotion Ministries is back with another great word! If you missed her last post with me, you can find it here.
We have a couple of freezers at my house. One sits inside, in the kitchen. It is easily accessible to me in my everyday life when I need food. Another sits out in the garage; it’s further away and I don’t use it as often. It’s simply not convenient.
Ice cream was on sale at our local grocery store this week. My mom called to see what flavors we wanted, and my dad and I answered. I requested mint chocolate chip, but my dad insisted we already had that. I argued. I didn’t see it. I checked the freezer again. “See?!” I pointed out. “I can’t find it. We don’t have it.” Continue reading “A Mint Chocolate Word from God”
Today’s guest blogger is by a dear friend of mine and my sisters’. We’ve grown up with this girl and her writings and photography inspires me. Recently, she got baptized and her testimony made me cry–I’d lived it alongside her! I’m so proud to see her turning her trials into testimony and overcoming. Be sure to follow her on Instagram to see all of her great photos! Continue reading “Guest Post: Micah”
