When your sister finally sends you the video after you already posted the other pictures

When your dad gets you ‘lit’ Christmas presents but you still have Hope for tomorrow. Merry Christmas from my family! ♥️ ps. those puns were only for you @jenningsbest...it pained me so much to type them 😬

Can’t get this song out of my head or my heart this month; these lyrics just grip me. There’s a lot of things God has called me to give up in the last year, things that other people shame giving up. I look like a fool, and often feel like one. But everything I’ve given up has been things I can’t keep—treasures on earth rather than in heaven—and I’ve given them up so that I have more room in my hands to take a hold of God. And I sing that lyric out with all my heart, because I have found that there truly isn’t shame in it. It’s a journey—one in letting go and getting lost in God—just like the song says. From my head to my heart. Let’s go.
