Hey everyone, I just wanted to give you all an update on what’s been going on from my side of the computer screen.
Aaaaaaaaand we’re back with another month’s collection of favorite things! Each month, I put together a list of things I’ve been enjoying that month (whether or not they actually released that month). Enjoy, and let me know if you love any of these things also!
I’m a deep thinker. Sometimes my mind trails off in wonder over something that many overlook or consider ordinary. Today I just wanted to share some of the things that I contemplated over the past week to see if anyone else ever thinks about these things too. I don’t think we take time to stop and be curious often enough. I’ve found that the more I travel and wander, the more I wonder. Being full of wonder is often seen as exclusively a childhood experience, but I think adults need it too–we all have an inherent need to be wonder-full. It’s that wonder that can and should project us towards compete wonder of God and His goodness, which results in praise. And praise is how we fight our battles.
Today, I’d like to take a moment and highlight my youngest sister’s blog, Hope for the Animals. She tirelessly researches and posts her findings about animal care, and has a passion for God’s creation that is unrivaled.
Hi everyone! Today is a little different type of post, because I have a handful of things to ask you.
It’s been about a month since I gave you all a life update, so I’m doing another one. I know that in my update at the beginning of September, I said that August had been a wild month, but September was even more insane *in a good way*.
Every month I share some things I enjoyed that month. This month is no different, albeit a little shorter of a list. Enjoy!
Hey guys, this week’s sermon notes are going to be late again because I was driving while listening to the message this week and obviously couldn’t take notes and drive. 🙂 I’ll try to listen to it again and take and upload notes by the end of the week, but the next couple of weeks are so busy so no promises.
Be sure to be on the lookout for some upcoming travel posts!
I’m so excited to introduce my new friend Corrie to you all! She’s a DJ on my favorite radio station, and I’ve listened to her for several years. Last year, I would listen to her speak in the afternoons as I came home from cosmetology school, and it encouraged me to keep going. She was also a cosmetology student who wanted to keep her faith first in the life of glitter, glam, and make-your-own-way. A couple months ago, she shared on the radio that she wished for a friend who understood what she was going through, and I found her on social media and reached out to her. After chatting for a couple weeks, we met up in person and really enjoyed each other’s company (yes, if you’re studying the pictures, it was at a Waffle House). I asked her to guest blog today so that I could share her with you all; she radiates the joy of the Lord and wisdom, and is really a treasure.
