The Master Key

Welcome back to the blog! I love seeing how many people and countries are able to read and use these sermon notes each week.  These notes posts have quickly become the most popular posts on my site! Thanks for all the support!

We began worship this week with “See a Victory“, followed by “Gone” and “Never Lost”, and an update on how contributions during Love week are helping Hurricane Dorian victims and a baptism.  We then kept singing with “No One Beside”,”Worthy“, and “What a Beautiful Name“.

Pastor Paul Daugherty from Victory Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  My notes read:

  • Matthew 16:19
  • The keys are not just meant to unlock God’s blessings on your life, but are also there to lock the devil out.
  • Stop looking for others to approve you when God already has.  Their thoughts didn’t create you, so don’t let them form you.
  • If serving is beneath you then leading is above you.  If you’re too big to serve, you’re too small to lead.
  • Your humiliation is preparation for an elevation and an acceleration.
  • A lot of people want God to elevate their platform, but they’re not ready to let Him develop their character.
  • Colossians 1:27
  • Christ in me is the master key.
  • You are here on purpose because you have a purpose.

Much love,
