Today’s post is from something God spoke to me that I wrote down in my devotional time this morning.  Thank you for your prayers for me.  God has been downloading so much, so quickly to me that I barely have time to write it all down.

“God spread out a cloud as shade as they moved ahead and a cloud of fire to light up their night.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭105:39‬ ‭TPT

Wow, that verse. He stretched out a cloud of shade for them to walk under. I’m just visualizing this massive cloud covering approximately two million people walking through a desert and what relief that must have provided. I can see the little kids on the edges of the crowd of people walking along, skipping out from under the cloud into the sunshine and back into the shade, back & forth. I know one time a cloud stopped above our house & rained, where it was raining in the back yard but dry in the front, because the cloud just ended above our house. My sisters and I ran back and forth between the raining side & the not raining side, just dumbfounded. We knew the cloud had to end somewhere, but for it to end directly over us was just wild. So yeah. Clouds end. Rain stops. But also shade comes and God covers us with His shadow, the shadow of His wing. If things are dark right now, remember you’re under His shadow. He cares about the little details for you, & literally has you covered.

Edit: I forgot to add before posting this that for those of you who watched the blood moon lunar eclipse last night across north and south America, the importance and power of a shadow is fresh in your memories, and the atmosphere which you are looking at the shadow through colors how you see it.

Much love,
