It’s just about the end of the month, which means a roundup of my favorite things from this month! (These are not necessarily released this month, I just enjoyed them this month.) Missed a month? See my favorite things from May and June.

This message from the Michael Miller of Upper Room church was so powerful; I probably need to watch it over and over in order to process it all! 🙂
Books I’ve Read This Month and Loved:
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
This is basically a classic book in terms of Christian fiction, and I finally took time to sit down and read it! I’ve heard so many good things about it from so many people I love and respect, so I was eager to have time to read it. It’s about 460 pages, so I had to wait until I had time, because I knew I’d get hooked. As it turns out, I did get hooked, and read it in a single afternoon.
I found this set of postcards that fulfilled my nerdiest desires. Each postcard has a quote from a classic literary author, including Jane Austen, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Edgar Allen Poe, and more. They’re perfect to write someone a note and brighten their day!
My friend went to England a few weeks ago, and we are both big fans of tea. Last time she went to the UK she found this amazing store that sells all different varieties of tea, hot chocolate, coffee, and more, so when I heard she was going again this summer, I asked her to bring me back some tea. I was able to look on their website and pick out what kind I wanted (they sell online to other countries too though), and she found it. Let me just tell you: IT SMELLS SO GOOD. I seriously just stop and smell it because it is just incredible (but it’s also good to drink 😉 )
I’ve been using this nail polish on my fingernails for the past several months, but I don’t think I’ve mentioned it here yet. I love the subtle, light pink color, and it matches with a lot of things I wear (granted, I pretty much just wear black, white, gray, and sometimes light pink haha). It usually takes two coats of it to get the opacity that I want, but that could be personal preference. It doesn’t chip too badly, but I usually change the polish and clip my nails once a week because I like my nails short, so those whose nails grow more slowly or go longer in between color changes may have some chipping.
I love this facial cleanser because it really reduces the acne and has a cooling property that is so refreshing! It’s perfect for your facial care routine in summer!
This month flew by and I spent a lot of it listening to the same songs and enjoying the same stuff from June, so the roundup isn’t huge this time around. Sorry!
