May Favorites

Today I wanted to share some of my favorite things from this past month.  These aren’t necessarily released in the last month; I’ve just enjoyed them in the past month. 🙂

Books:

My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers

This book hits me right where I need it every single morning! It pushes me forward in audacious faith, and my copy has highlights and notes scribbled all over it.  It is probably the best devotional I’ve ever read, and I put it on my Instagram all the time because I just can’t keep it to myself!

Always Enough, Never Too Much by Jess Connolly and Hayley Morgan

This is another devotional that I read daily (I usually read My Utmost for His Highest in the morning and this one at night).  I actually reviewed it last week, so I won’t repeat myself and will just put the link to that review here. 🙂

Through the Eyes of a Lion by Levi Lusko

I also reviewed this book this month, so check out that post because it is a really, really amazing book!

Music:

I have spent hours–yes, HOURS–listening to this one song recently.  I have poured out so many tears and prayers listening to it and the presence of God is so palpable through this!

More from the same group!

I’ve also really enjoyed Hillsong Worship’s latest album, especially through Amazon Music Unlimited.  These are some of my favorite songs from it:

Clothing:

This shirt…I mean, c’mon! IT’S AMAZING.  It’s also great for finding out which of your friends are fellow Austenites.

I like to pair it with this skirt too:

And these pajamas are SO cute and comfy, I can’t get them through the laundry fast enough!

Food:

Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin, and Nails Gummies: I really like these! I think they taste great, and they really make a difference when I use them.  My hair grows faster, my nails grow stronger and smoother, and my skin is clearer and brighter.  I didn’t notice the results as much when I was using them because the change is gradual as your skin cells are replaced and your hair and nails take time to grow out, but when I ran out of these vitamins and didn’t use them for a couple of months, I could really tell the difference!

Yogi Cinnamon Vanilla Healthy Skin Tea.  I love the taste of this tea, and, in combination with the above vitamins, noticed my skin was less-acne prone and more glowy (if that’s a word?) from drinking this.

Television Shows:

I’m on season 6 of both Downton Abbey and Monk–two VASTLY different shows LOL!–on Amazon Prime.  It’s taken months to get here of course, but I’ve enjoyed watching both of them.

Okay, I think that’s all I’ll do for now. 🙂 I do want to add that many of these links are affiliate links through Amazon, which means if you purchase the item linked, I’ll get a small percentage of it.  Your price doesn’t increase any, and it helps me out–a win-win!
